Sorrow

...
If sorrows lives within these walls,
Why should I walk in?
I'm afraid to trip and fall,
All sadness once again.

If anger wanders down these halls,
Roams both night and day;
I'm sorry but I will not crawl,
No matter what you say.

If regret lives within my heart,
Forever living there;
I've learned that it takes two to part,
Also two to care.

Someday I'll start to walk again,
Move forward come what may;
Stand on my own two feet, have friends,
Become whole on the way.

If forgiveness fills my veins,
All compromise, not crawl;
Maybe finally find the way,
Maybe finally find the way,
It's worth it after all.
